  6. Introduction
  7. ============
  8. TV Monitor is an alternative to Apple's Video Monitor application for displaying input video on the desktop of video-input capable Macs.

  10. The TV Monitor window can be moved around, by clicking and dragging on the video image.

  12. To preserve the  4:3 aspect ratio while re-sizing the window, hold down the Shift key while re-sizing.

  18. • Restriction of the window size such that it cannot exceed the maximum size of the source video image. The reason is that once this size was exceeded, a VERY slow frame rate of the video input was seen.
  19. • Dragging the window is now also possible by clicking and dragging in the main window area (the "contents" area).
  20. • "Full Size" option now expands to cover the full width of screens that are less than or equal to the maximum width of the source video image. NTSC source is 640 x 480 pixels, and PAL is 768 x 576 pixels.
  21. • 4:3  ratio is now preserved when re-sizing with Shift key.
